Seek our Advice for the Best Location

Location is an extremely important factor when choosing a temporary or permanent home. You can be assured that the properties we have carefully selected to let and manage are in some of the most sort after towns and villages located in South Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Surrey. We are confident you will enjoy living in your temporary home whether you choose to live in Henley-on-Thames, Nettlebed or Nuffield or in one of the Berkshire towns and villages of Wargrave, Littlewick Green, Twyford, Hurst, Wokingham, Binfield or Ascot.

The jewel in Oxfordshire’s crown, you need to visit personally to fully appreciate what this picturesque riverside market town has to offer. It is on one of the most beautiful stretches of the River Thames, in gently wooded rolling countryside. You will enjoy the quality of life and experience the feeling that you are away from the bustle of everyday pressures yet remarkably accessible being only an hour’s drive west of London and Paddington is only 35 minutes away by train. The attractive Georgian town centre has a wide range of individual shops from international designer wear and accessories to antiques, art galleries and gifts. There’s an excellent choice of places to eat from traditional coaching inns to international restaurants and informal continental style pavement cafes. You can hire a boat and follow the world-famous Henley regatta course. The Henley regatta founded in 1839 attracts international interest each July when Olympians mingle with business and high society in the grandest of English Picnics besides the Thames.

Some of the delightful small villages and country houses nearby are used for major films and TV productions, and you may recognise a scene here and there as you explore the countryside of the leafy Chilterns – the local pub will almost certainly have press clippings on the wall to remind people. It’s hard to realise you are so close to London.

Twyford is situated between Reading and Maidenhead on the A4 and only 10 minutes away from Henley-on-Thames. An attractive village and is well served by a good selection of restaurants, pubs and Waitrose supermarket. There are some excellent schools for example, the Colleton School in Twyford “is an outstanding school” Ofsted 2006. The smaller villages such as Hurst, Wargrave, Littlewick Green and Ruscombe are close by. The train journey from the mainline train station to Paddington takes approximately 40 minutes. The M4 is only 10 minutes drive away.

Royal Ascot

Royal Ascot has all the pageantry, tradition and style and has the greatest horseracing in the world. Ascot is well served by its mainline railway station with Waterloo only a 45 minute train journey away. Heathrow Airport is only 30 minutes away and is serviced by a network of motorways M3, M4, M25 and M40.
